Father of two amazing boys. Digital entrepreneur. Misdiagnosed; cancer fighter.
For a number of years, I spent the best part of each night, when I should have been sleeping peacefully, wide awake and in pain. Googling my symptoms, getting nowhere. Night after night. Month after month. Year after frustrating year.
Doctor after doctor. Specialist after specialist.
And then, finally, I got to the bottom of it. But not before my life had been turned upside down in the process.
I’d been misdiagnosed.
I would imagine that, right now, there could be tens of thousands in my position. Some will solve the puzzle. Some won’t.
So, time to get out of my comfort zone, and blog. Read on if you desire. But if you read only one more thing from me, let it be this:
Question everything. Go with your gut. No one knows you, like you.
I’m a proud father of two amazing lads, who continue to inspire me in immeasurable ways.
My career has been spent mostly in the app, web and digital development space, commercialising and embracing new technology opportunities as they emerge.
Following the aforementioned life-changing misdiagnosis of my own, I have since created a project to raise awareness about the the very real possibilities of medical misdiagnosis: myMisdiagnosis.com.
This site is dedicated to my two teenage boys Henry and Zac, to my ever-supportive Mum and Dad, my beautiful wife Jane and to my dearest friends near and far. Thank you for the support, the love and the laughter.
